The set command is used to modify the properties of existing objects. For example, set host can change the IP address or comments of a previously created host object.

After login, Gaia API returns a session token which must be included in the X-Session-Token header for all subsequent calls. This maintains authentication state across requests securely.

When Management API access is disabled via SmartConsole, any API-based request using mgmt_cli or external tools will be rejected, as the server will not accept or process API traffic.

To delete objects like users or hosts, the API requires the object's UID or name. Deletion does not automatically trigger a publish; changes must be committed using the publish command.
