Huawei CloudRSE (Recording & Streaming Engine) uses Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). The roles are strictly defined:
* System Administrator: Responsible for system-level settings, network configurations, and User Management (creating accounts and assigning roles).
* Media Administrator: Responsible for managing the content. This includes Recording management (deleting or moving files), setting permissions for Video watching , and authorizing Video downloads .
Because User Management is a system-level administrative task, it is restricted to the System Administrator role to ensure security and centralize account control.

The Huawei Mic 500 is a wired omnidirectional microphone array with a 6-meter pickup radius. For larger meeting rooms using the CloudLink Box 310 or 610 , the system supports cascading to extend audio coverage. According to the hardware specifications, these terminals allow for a maximum of 2 Mic 500 units to be cascaded via the HD-AI audio input port. This configuration ensures that larger conference tables are fully covered without audio dead zones.

The IdeaHub S2 is the first large-screen collaboration device to achieve CC EAL5+ high-level security certification. Its multi-layered defense includes:
* Interface Control (A & D): Administrators can disable physical ports (USB, etc.) and set granular permissions for apps.
* Data Security (B): Sensitive data and keys are stored in a TEE (Trusted Execution Environment) , isolated from the standard OS.
* O & M Security (C): Every login and system change is logged for auditing and traceability.
* Kernel Security (E): It uses ASLR (Address Space Layout Randomization) to prevent memory- based cyberattacks by making the location of system processes unpredictable.

The IdeaHub S2 provides a comprehensive set of physical I/O ports on its rear and side panels to support diverse integration needs:
* Audio (A & D): It features a 3.5mm Line In for external microphones or mixers and a 3.5mm Line Out for connecting to external room speakers.
* Video (B & C): It includes at least one HDMI Input for wired projection from a PC and an HDMI Output used for "Double Screen" setups (extending the display to a second monitor/projector) or for recording via an external device.
