Background
You are the system administrator for a manufacturing company named Contoso, Ltd. The corporate headquarters office is located in Chicago. The company also has offices in Seattle, Boston and Dallas.
Contoso, Ltd. has a single Active Directory forest that uses conioso.com as the namespace.
The company's warehouse is in Boston. A datacenter runs the software applications used by the warehouse.
The datacenter has a Microsoft Hyper-V cluster named Bos-Cluster1. The cluster does not have an Internet connection. Telecommunications and it department employees work from the Chicago office. A datacenter at the Chicago office includes the following;
* a Hyper-V cluster named Chi-Cluster1
* Microsoft Skype for Business Server front End servers that reside on virtual machines (VMs) on Ch-Cluster1
* a server named Chi-Server1 that runs Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM) Finance department and human resource department employees work from the Dallas office. Sales and marketing department employees work from the Seattle office. The Dallas and Seattle offices each host a datacenter. The Dallas datacenter hosts a custom application that the finance department uses to manage corporate financial data The servers at each datacenter are configured as shown in the following table.
Technical Requirements
You must deploy a network virtual appliance to force tunneling to the internet for the virtual environment.
You must use Windows PowerShell commands to perform the deployment.
Boston
You must deploy a Hyper-V cluster named Sea-Cluster1 to host software applications for the sales and marketing departments. The cluster must reduce network latency and maximize network throughput. This cluster must implement Storage Spaces Direct (S2D). Both Hyper-V compute and S2D resources must run on the same cluster. File share and SMB cannot be used for S2D.
You have a single named Sea-Server1 that is allocated to seed the cluster. This server must use SCVM to perform a bare metal deployment. You configure the virtual network to support the storage requirements Chicago You must deploy a new Hyper-V cluster named Dal-Custer1 to the Dallas datacenter. This environment will host the software applications for both the finance and human resource departments.
You must use Sysprep to generalize the images that win be used to deploy VMs for the cluster. vMs must be deployed quickly and must use a standard image.
The finance department software application must use shielded VMs. You must configure Dal-Cluster1 with a guarded fabric. The cluster must implement admin-trusted attestation.
Dallas
You must deploy a Hyper-V cluster named Sea-Cluster1 to host software applications for the sales and marketing departments. The cluster must reduce network latency and maximize network throughput. This cluster must implement Storage Spaces Direct (S2D1. Both Hyper-V compute and S20 resources must run on the same cluster File share and SMB cannot be used for S20.
