URI Manipulation: It provides the capability to modify the request URIs, which is often required to normalize dialing patterns or comply with specific carrier formatting.
Header Manipulation: It allows for adding, modifying, or removing SIP headers (e.g., P-Asserted- Identity, Diversion headers) to ensure that the internal Avaya network and the external network can communicate correctly.
Linking: You link this profile to a SIP Server Profile within the SBC configuration. Once linked, the SBC applies these specific interworking rules whenever it communicates with that specific server, ensuring that the signaling is tailored to the needs of that connection.

In an Avaya Aura Presence Services deployment, the Avaya Breeze platform hosts the Presence Services snap-in. When configuring a client like Avaya one-X Communicator for Instant Messaging and Presence (IM/P):
Signaling Gateway: The Breeze Security Module (SM) acts as the signaling interface for the Breeze cluster. It is responsible for handling the XMPP or SIP/SIMPLE traffic that carries presence subscriptions and status updates.
Client Configuration: The endpoint must point directly to the Security Module's IP or FQDN to establish the TLS connection required for presence synchronization.
Separation of Traffic: While the client uses the Session Manager for telephony (voice/video), it specifically uses the Breeze Security Module for its presence-related "Social" and "IM" features.

Stat the tue Tracing Tools, TraceSM, SSH to Session Manager
1. Launch PuTTY (or similar client application) for a SSH session to Session Manager (port 22).
Use the Session Manager IP Address (172.16.255.107).
2. Log in.
3. At the Session Manager command line type traceSM -x and press Enter.
Note: The traceSM tool shows the SIP call flow in Session Manager.
It gives insight into Session Manager's decisions.

Traffic Flow: When an Avaya Workplace client (formerly Equinox) subscribes to presence information or sends a status update, the signaling travels through the Breeze Security Module.
This module manages the identity and security of the connection before the Presence Services snap-in processes the message.
Protocol: This delivery typically uses XMPP (over port 5222) or SIP/SIMPLE, depending on the client configuration and the specific version of the deployment.

Provisioning Avaya Aura Media Server for the WebRTC Snap-in.
Procedure
1. Log in to the Avaya Aura
Media Server Element Manager.
2. Check that Avaya Aura
Media Server nodes and routes are set up correctly.

3. Go to System Configuration > Server Profile > General Settings, enable Firewall NAT Tunneling Media Processor and then click Save.
4. Go to System Configuration > Signaling Protocols > SIP > General Settings, enable Always use SIP default outbound proxy, and then click Save.
Go to System Configuration > Media Processing > ICE > TURN/STUN Servers > Accounts and create a TURN/STUN account. This account ID and password must match the account created on the Avaya SBCE.
6. Go to System Configuration > Media Processing > ICE > TURN/STUN Servers > Servers to add the TURN/STUN connection to the Avaya SBCE server Etc.
